Tank Two

Tank02 Cover 560

The newest addition to the Fuel Press portfolio has arrived and is now on sale. They say that the second album is a tricky one to pull off, but I don’t mind saying that editor Geoff has knocked one out the park with this.

Probably the most fun for this issue was the phonecall from BMW Mottorad in Germany. “The chief designers over here love your magazine and we want to offer you an exclusive shoot of the Concept Ninety.” Say.. what?

Before we could think about what just happened, we had London based shooter Sam Christmas on a plane to Munich to take up the shoot. The results were an exclusive set of photos of the C90 just for us. It was kind of a no brainer to put one of Sam’s shots on the cover as his coverage was simply stunning. Check out the issue for indepth interviews with Roland Sands and his BMW counterparts about the design and build of the project.

The rest of the issue is packed full of interesting and diverse stories ranging from a local Melbourne pro drag bike (which Ben lit up in the street for us..!), artists Maxwell Paternoster and Kristina Fender, Brad ‘The Zon’ Richards’ Harly cafe, a sweet local Yamaha tracker, modified postie bikes, and stacks more.

Issue 02 is now shipping to subscribers, and will start to ship out as individual orders early next week. It will be onsale nationally through the Australian newsagency network from Monday 7th October, and we will be at the Chopped Rod & Custom show next weekend if you want to pick one up in person.
