What are Fuel Magazine and Tank Moto?
They are automotive publications based in Melbourne, Australia. We publish Australian content primarily, with added articles from overseas to mix it up. In Fuel you’ll find hot rods, custom cars, muscle cars, some Euro and Japanese cars, motorcycles, and a few ladies added in to the mix. In Tank it’s pure motorcycle indulgence ranging from stock bikes to custom bike, race bikes, artists, events and lifestyle features.
Each issue is printed on high quality paper and our customers say that our magazines are “more like a coffee table book than a magazine.”
Issues are published three times per year. Subscriptions are for four issues of either title.
Can I submit material?
Absolutely, either in the form of a web link to a gallery of low resolution sample images (eg; Dropbox), or by emailing in 72 dpi resolution images, each at no more than 200kb in size on to ONE email. Submissions larger than 1MB or on multiple emails will not be considered. Please also include a paragraph explaining the content or story that you are submitting.
How big are the magazines?
23 x 17cm and each copy weighs approximately 450g or 1 lb.
Can I buy them online?
Yes. We have an online shop stocking the magazines as well as other items including shirts, stickers, DVDs and other high quality publications.
We have two online shop sites; Australia/Rest of the World and United States. We have stock on hand in each location to allow us to service two sides of the world the best we can. If you live in the US, you will order through the ‘United States’ shop website. If you live anywhere else you will order through the ‘Australia/Rest of the World’ shop website.

Where can I buy it in person?
In Australia - Both titles are distributed through the Australian newsagency network, as well as independent stockists.

I live in the US and I currently have a subscription running. Will my sub change over to ship from the Detroit office?
Yes, in fact it already has. The next issue you receive will be from Detroit, as will be all remaining issues on your subscription.
I live in US and I want to order something that’s in stock in the Australia/Rest of the World shop but isn’t in stock in the US shop.
Currently, the only stock available to you is what is listed in the shop for your region. We are working hard to make equal stock available in both shops, but this will take a little time to perfect.
Do you ship to my country and how much will it cost? How do I calculate shipping?
Add an item to your cart from the shop page and select your country from the menu. Click ‘update total’ and a final amount will be displayed.

Can you do a better deal on shipping?
No. Postage rates are set by Australia Post and USPS, not us.
I want back issues but you’ve sold out. Where can I get them?
If an issue is sold out in our store, it is no longer available through us. You could try looking through the stockists page. There may be a reseller with some back issues left.
Can I get a subscription?
Yes. Go to the shop site of your region and make an order through there.
Do you publish digital editions?
No.
Do you plan to?
Not for the foreseeable future. We put our hearts and souls in to creating the best printed products that we possibly can. We just don’t have the resources to pour the same amount of love and attention in to a digital format.
But you can just upload your files to a page-flipping tablet app?
We’re enthusiastic about quality and user satisfaction. We feel that doing the above does not not satisfy these qualities.
